Devin Ramsey, Realtor

Devin Todd Ramsey is a Berea native. She is a local realtor, life-insurance broker & notary public. Aside from serving as the BCOC President, she serves on several other boards & committees within her community such as Mike’s Kids’ Education Foundation, Redeeming Hope’s technology committee & is the co-chair for Bluegrass Realtor’s YPN committee. When Devin isn’t busy selling homes or serving her community, you can find her at home with her 2 children working on home-improvement projects.

Ethan Lake is a Loan Officer for Whitaker Bank. Ethan not only is a native Berean, he is a graduate of the University of the Cumberlands (Bachelors) and Eastern Kentucky University (MBA).  Ethan is involved with many organizations in Berea including Berea Baptist Church.  Ethan lives just outside of Berea with is wife, Kelli, and his son, Whitaker.

Kristy Napier is the Retail Banking Officer for Central Bank & Trust. Aside from being a Board of Director for the BCOC she serves on the board for the New Opportunity School for Women Foundation. She is a  NOSWF Scholarship Committee member & past BCOC President & Berea Tourism Commissioner.

Pastor Stephen Hobbs has served at Berea Church of God for over 30 years. He has been married to Diana for 45 years which blessed him with two daughters and four grandchildren.

D & B Electric

Dale and his wife Brenda started D & B Electric and Communications, LLC Feb 5, 2005.  They started with just  a pickup truck with a utility bed.  “The Lord has blessed us and today we have 9 full time employees, 2 part time, and 1 co-op worker, and a fleet of 8 trucks.” They do mostly commercial and industrial electrical installations and service calls, as well as some residential installations and service calls.  They also do CAT-6 computer cabling, and Fiber Optic installations. 

Trey was born and raised here in Berea, KY. He is a licensed Insurance Agent offering Auto, Home, Life, Health and Commercial Insurance products as well as Financial Services through Craig Loftis – State Farm here in town. In his free time he enjoys: Golfing, exercising, spending time with Family and Friends, and going on hikes with his dog “Bean”. Trey says, “I am blessed to be able to serve Berea through the Chamber of Commerce.”

Katelyn Coleman-Franklin is a proud entrepreneur with her fingers in 5 small businesses, all of which call Berea home. As the owner of Dad’s Flooring and Great Spirits, she thrives on building personal connections with her customers.

It’s not just about business for her – “it’s about creating a sense of community.” In 2014, Kate & her son made the move to Berea, where she met now husband, Camron and his son Sam. “Being a dedicated wife and a mom to two wonderful kids keeps me grounded and I cherish the balance between my professional and family life.” Beyond the doors of her businesses, you’ll find Kate actively involved in supporting our local community. Whether it’s lending a hand at events or championing local initiatives, she’s all in. Kate says, “I believe that the heart of any business is the community it serves, and I’m grateful to be a part of Berea’s vibrant tapestry.” Kate cannot wait to meet you at Dad’s Flooring or Great Spirits and share stories that go beyond the transaction!

Chris was born and raised in the mountains of Southeast Kentucky, which shaped his life by learning to be kind, patient and always willing to educate on life improving decisions. Chris & his team are very excited to work on bringing financial services to the area. Chris says, “I’m proud to be the team that brings that additional support to the community.” In Chris’ spare time, he’s a proud husband to Brittany and father to their two sons, Liam and Ryker. Together they have a passion for serving others through their church, spending time on the weekends coaching his sons in community sports and attending car shows.

David Gilliam has been an educator in the Madison County school system for over 30 years and has served as the Superintendent of the district since 2018.  He is a lifelong resident of southern Madison County.  He is married to Dawna Gilliam and 2 children (Benjamin and Rebekah). He has served on the Berea Chamber Board of Directors since 2010.

Diane is the Superintendent for Berea Community Schools. She also serves with the  National Alliance of Black School Educators, KY Educational Development Cooperative, Board of Directors for both KEDC and South East South Central Educational Cooperative. Diane is the Program Ambassador to the American Association of School Superintendents. She is a member of the Richmond Madison County NAACP and the KY Chamber Leadership for School Principals Board of Managers. Additionally, she is a mentor for KY Women in Educational Leadership, guiding students within her district. Diane facilitates a Superintendent Advisory Council with 60 students, including elementary, middle, and high school representatives, allowing her to focus on leadership and service projects.

Kim Richards, V.P. of Clinical Support & Ancillary Services at Baptist Health Richmond, has been a Berea resident for almost 25 years. She settled in Madison County after completing Pharmacy School at UK with her husband, Dwayne, and taking a job at Pattie A. Clay Hospital (now BHR) as a clinical pharmacist. While living in Berea, they have raised 2 children.  After being Director of Pharmacy at BHR for 20 years, Kim was chosen to take her current position within the hospital where she is over operations of the facility from clinical support services to facilities management. She is excited to join the Berea Chamber of Commerce Board so she can become more involved in the community that she and her family love to call home.

Chase Riddle is an attorney at the Law Offices of Croley and Foley. Chase is a Berea native & a proud graduate of Berea Community High School. He received his bachelor degree from the University of Louisville & his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School. Chase is proud to serve his hometown community by providing legal representation to the citizens of Berea & serving on the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Verna Todd is a local entrepreneur. Her and her husband Billy Todd are the proud owners of Todd Builders, EagleRock Insulation and Todd Rentals. Verna is a graduate of Madison Southern High School before she went on to attend and graduate from Eastern Kentucky University. Verna and her husband Billy have two sons; Jamie and Trevor, one daughter; Allie, as well as one new granddaughter Zoey.

Shelley Lakes Wolfe is a lifelong Berea Resident who  graduated from Berea Community High School and Eastern Ky University where she obtained a degree in health care. She currently works full time for Matthews Aurora and is the co-owner of Foley’s Florist and Lakes Funeral Home in Berea. Shelley has been a Berea Chamber of Commerce board member for 5 years and is a past president. She is married to Terry Wolfe. Together they share 3 children and 7 grandchildren!
