First Friday Berea’s mission is to inspire radical hope, encourage camaraderie, and build an enlivened community in Berea, Kentucky. We believe in the power of free live music to bring communities together and as a catalyst for social change. Our primary program is the Levitt AMP Berea Music Series, a free outdoor summer concert series curated for diversity and cultural significance, showcasing diverse genres to appeal to a wide audience. Events feature national, regional, and local live music and performance art, First Friday Market, food trucks, children’s activities, and family fun atmosphere.
First Friday Berea partnered with Mountain Association and was awarded a matching funds grant in 2021-22, receiving a $25,000 each year to produce a free outdoor concert series. The Series is presented by First Friday Berea and Mountain Association, with the support of the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation and the City of Berea.
